Group Programs — Expression of Interest

Have you found out your partner is gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender? Or perhaps they’re struggling with same-sex attraction. Are you looking for a group program to help you feel less alone? If so, you’re in the right place.

Discovering that your partner has a hidden sexual orientation or gender identity is a profound shock and a deep betrayal. It can feel confusing, disorienting, and incredibly lonely, but you are not the only one going through this. Far from it.

Group support can be life‑changing. When you meet others who truly understand what you’re experiencing, something shifts. You feel less alone. You feel validated. You begin to make sense of what has happened.

Maybe your partner is still closeted and pressuring you to keep their secret, leaving you feeling silenced, isolated, and cut off from support. Or perhaps people in your life minimise your pain because they don’t understand the trauma of deceptive sexuality. Either way, your experience deserves to be acknowledged — not dismissed. As Brené Brown says,

“Shame needs three things to grow out of control in our lives: secrecy, silence, and judgment.”

One of the most powerful antidotes is connection, and one of the most effective ways to find it is to meet with others who understand it in a supportive group program.

I’m planning to offer small, facilitated group programs for straight spouses and people whose partners have transitioned. These groups will provide a safe, confidential space to talk with others who are navigating similar challenges, and can work well alongside individual therapy.

If you’d like to hear more as details become available, please add your name below. There’s no obligation to join. This simply lets me know you’re interested and ensures you receive updates. You’re also welcome to reach out if you have any questions.
